“I started this work by chance at Galata Tower. I worked as a DJ, then I realized that I liked managing and I began to work; I entered in the kitchen, I studied service, I dealt so much with cost calculations. I even developed a system of my own.

As a family, we have our roots back in İzmir, Anatolia and also in Istanbul. All my family members are interested in foods, so we had wonderful dishes at home. I tried to improve my taste and then I began to prepare my own dishes.

I have tried many dishes using sea foods particularly. Thanks to all these and the support of the food culture given by my family, I found myself right in the middle of the market.”

  • Graduated from Kabataş High School, Aksaray Economic and Commercial Sciences.
  • Worked for 2 periods as the president of Kabataş Beşiktaş Fans Association.
  • His business life started as Galata Tower managership.
  • He acted as the Founder and Chairman of BJK College which was founded at 1996-1997 Academic year.
  • He acted as a Member of the High Council of the Foundation for the Protection of the Environment and Cultural Heritage.
  • He acted as a Member of Beylerbeyi Sports Management Board and Press Agent from 1994 to 1996.
  • He acted as a Member of Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club Administration Board and Press Agent at 200-2002 Period.
  • He worked at Sabah Newspaper as a journalist for 3 years.
  • He acted as the Chairman of the Turkish Restaurant & Entertainment Association from 2003 to 2004 as a Founder and Honorary President.
  • He became a candidate for the Presidency of Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club in 2004.

Furthermore;

  • He was awarded as the “Doyen” of the food-beverage industry at 2005-2005 period.
  • He was awarded as the “Best Foreign Investor” as he brought SUPPER CLUB from Netherlands at 2005-2006 period.
  • He was granted the Honour Award given by Gecce.com at 2007-2008 period.
  • He was granted the Oscar Award given by Gecce.com at 2008-2009 period.
  • He was awarded as the “Best Investor” at food-beverage industry at 2009-2010 period.
  • He acted as a member of jury at “Master Chef” competition in 2011.
  • He worked as a sports commentator in 90’A program broadcasted in A Haber TV since 2013.
  • He still works as a journalist in Turkish version of La Cucina Italiana Journal.
  • He is very much interested in underwater. He is a Dive Master certified diver. He shoots videos underwater. His CD, “Dünya Belgeselleri” (“World’s Documentaries) was broadcasted on several TV channels in Turkey and it was awarded in a competition in Italy.
